Some surveys show that at least a third of American adults are unhappy with the way their teeth look. We all deserve a confident smile, and porcelain veneers are a popular cosmetic dental treatment because they are versatile and produce stunning results.

Dr. Lalani is our cosmetic dentist in Mesquite, and he bonds these customized, ultra-thin shells of porcelain securely to the front of a tooth to improve its appearance. Since veneers completely cover your teeth, they easily conceal the flaws beneath, including broken, cracked, or gapped teeth.

The Surprising Benefits of Porcelain Veneers

You might've thought that porcelain veneers in Mesquite were only for enhancing your smile. Here are some of the other benefits veneers offer.

Reliable Durability

Direct bonding to your tooth allows veneers to provide exceptional strength.

Improved Confidence

A beautiful smile you feel confident about sharing with others is priceless.

Stain Resistant

Porcelain veneers are stain-resistant, so you won't have to whiten your teeth.

Porcelain Veneers Fix Cosmetic Smile Flaws

Dental veneers offer lots of possibilities for improving the appearance of your smile. Using veneers in Mesquite, Dr. Lalani can help you resolve one of these issues or all of them!

Conceal Broken or Cracked Teeth

Chipped, broken, or cracked teeth distract from the harmony of your smile and leave you feeling self-conscious about your appearance. Placing veneers on the affected teeth conceals the flaws and leaves a seamless, symmetrical appearance.

Hide Uneven Gaps and Spaces

That little gap between your front teeth was cute when you were a child, but now you would like a more uniform appearance for your smile. Since a veneer forms a new tooth surface, your dentist in Mesquite can shape them to conceal that apparent gap as well as any other spacing issues you’re unhappy with.

Even out Size and Shape Discrepancies

Do you have one tooth that’s smaller or differently shaped than the rest of your teeth? Porcelain veneers in Mesquite can be used to hide size and shape discrepancies for a more harmonious and balanced smile.

Conceal Slight Tooth Misalignment

You may have been putting up with slightly crooked or crowded teeth because you’re not interested in orthodontics. The good news is that your dentist may be able to use veneers to conceal the misalignment and give your teeth a straighter, more uniform appearance.

Your Path to a Brand-New Smile: The 2-Visit Veneer Process

Once you and Dr. Lalani decide that veneers are the right treatment for you, plan on two visits to our Mesquite dental office. During the first, we’ll prepare your teeth by removing a thin layer of tooth enamel that makes space for the veneer to fit correctly. Next, we take impressions of the prepared teeth to create a model for our dental lab to follow and prepare your temporary veneers.

When we receive your final veneers back from the custom dental lab, we’ll have you return to our office, where we will remove your temporaries, check the veneers for fit, and cement them securely on your teeth.

When you are careful with your veneers and brush and floss thoroughly every day, you can expect your veneers to last as long as ten years.
